Acquiring Image data from TCP port

Hi,

I am transferring an JPEG  image buffer(1D array of Short int) through TCP/IP Sockets through my GPRS modem to a PC. I would like to know how can I acquire this data and convert it to an Image and dispaly on labview fron end. I am presently doing it by one method, but I want to know is there any better alternative to improve that. I have only Labview 7.1 no Vision Modules:(

Please suggest me.I have attached snapshot of my present method

Hi Sathvik,

A couple of things.

• The IMAQ drivers for 7.1 are available for free to download. This knowledgebase shows what version you will need for 7.1.
  
• You can also use an image control that comes with the driver
  
• This knowledgebase how to save/view array of pixel data as an image without having NI-Vision.
