How can LabVIEW running on VM to access a USB NI device connected to the host machine ?

NI doesn't guarantee that it will work as the pass-through drivers on the VMs are not stable/fully-featured enough for the drivers to work.

I have used USB-6008 on VM without any issues.

Depending on the VM, you need to pass the control of USB device from host to VM.
