I'm working in a developement group and we've run into a problem that the AVI files we're acquiring are overly massive; like 170MB for 4 seconds of video. In looking through the help files provided on the AVI generation, I didn't notice any way to reduce the file out size, except for adding in a compression filter; I plan on digging into that a bit this week, but if someone out there can tell me of another solution, I'd like to take a look at that as well. The image our camera is providing is 640x640 8 bit monochrome at 30 frames per second. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
