A beginner's question

Hello,
I am a beginner in LabVIEW, and I am trying to get some data from a
transducer and make some basic analysis on it. Actually, the onle thing to
do is make some measurement with the transducer, with some unwanted
components of the signal, software removed.
I tried a rather unsophisticated way, with a AI Acquire Waveform.vi nested
in a while loop, and a waveform graph indicator. This seems to work fine,
but when I tried to add some analysis ( a simple sine wave addition to the
AI Acquire Waveform output), things were strange...
Does anyone has an idea?

Thanks in advance,
Manos

How do you add sinewave? What do you mean with things were strange? If you can explain your problem a bit more, or send some type of example, perhaps someone can help...

Manos,

If you haven't already seen it, I would highly recommend opening and emulating a particular example program that ships with LabVIEW. It's called "Cont Acq&Chart (buffered)", and it lives here:

\examples\daq\anlogin\anlogin.llb

You'll find the recommended program structure for buffered continuous acquisition, plus a subVI called "My Data Processing" that shows where in your diagram is the right place to put your software filtering.

Hope it helps,
