A VI - current source?

Hello.

How do I create a VI - current source?

Hi Technik,

technical speaking: you need a DAQ hardware capable of current sourcing. Then you create a suitable DAQmx task (for NI hardware)…

Which software do you use? Is this really LabVIEW (as you are asking in a LabVIEW forum)?

I do not need to connect any external equipment.

I need to simulate inside Multisim - LabView VI (virtual tool) created based on the StarterOutputInstrumentV2 template.

Software:

1). NI Multisim (v.10.1.1)

2). LabView (v.8.6)

Hi Technik,

when you just want to simulate a "current source" by its current value then you already got that by using the slide control.

(When you have problems using MultiSim you should ask in the MultiSim board…)

Clarifications:

This is the use of LabView virtual instruments when simulating inside Multisim.

Do you understand the essence of the question?

I have problems Exactly using LABVIEW inside Multisim.

I can't get the current source.

If you know how to do this, please give an example.

I understand that you have problems with using a LabVIEW VI inside of Multisim.

So I advise again to ask in the Multisim board!
