3rd party HW interface and CANopen LabVIEW Library ?

I like to use an IXXAT USB-to-CAN interface together with the LabVIEW CANopen library.
This 3rd party interface comes with LabVIEW driver VI's and works fine in LabVIEW.
Now we have to implement a new LabVIEW 8.2 application using CANopen.
Is it possible to adapt the LabVIEW CANopen library manually, e.g. by exchanging lowlevel VIs?
Or are there other possibilities?

I'm sorry but the CANopen library is limited to work with NI-CAN hardware. Most vis of this library are based on DLL calls (ni_cano.dll). This DLL calls directly the NI-CAN driver so there is no way to use it with a 3rd party hardware.
So there are two options:

1. Try to get a CANopen library for your IXXAT device.
2. Use a CAN device from NI instead.

Dit you manage to solve the problem?

I also want to use a USB-to-CAN Compact from IXXAT.de for CANOpen with LabVIEW. Any suggestions getting started?

Thank you verry much in advance!
