3d surface plot, software shut down

I am going to use the 3D surface plot function to demonstrate my image data, which is a 2D array.

However, once I tried to place the 3D surface plot vi onto the front panel, the labview program will shut down immediately. It happens for all the 3D plot functions. I am now using 2010 version. I also tried 2011 version, same thing. 

Then I went to another computer from a neighbor lab and it works without a problem. Someone told me that it may be related with the compatbility of the graphic card on this computer. Help needed!!

Thanks for sharing the solution. However, I am running labview 2010 in XP instead of vista so I dont need to run compatiblity mode at all.

But I will try another graphic card driver too.
