3d graph with powerpoint 2007 (pptx or pptm)

Hi, I tried to insert a 3d surface graph in powerpoint 2007 and I followed the instructions given here:

It works but only with the compatibility format PPT.

On the contrary when I save as a pptx (or pptm), that is the new format of powerpoint 2007, it "forgets" the content of the graph. I mean that If I save and reopen the powerpoint presentation I just see the coordinate axes, but not the data.

I ask if someone else experienced this problem and if he can suggest a solution.

Hi,

I could experience your same behaviour: in .ppt file, the graph is correctly displayed, while in .pptx a flat surface (and not the synusoidal one I created) is only displayed.

However, I still cannot find an explanation of such a behaviour: I'll have to investigate further. If I find something, I'll post back.
