3-dimensional scan

Hi all,
How can I scan a 3-dimensional field at certain distances in each direction? I mean a 3D-grate (imbedded in a rectangular prism). I tried already 3 nested for loops, but I can only get the diagonal.

Im not entirely sure I understand your problem, but if you are trying to scan a 3-D array, a triple for loop stucture will work, if you only scanned a diagonal instead of the whole area, that is probably a result of setting the for loops up wrong. Make sure the loops are nested and not parallel, because parallel loops would only scan the diagonal.
