Has any one come across this error while writing data to excel file using Report Generation toolkit for MS Office.

Yes, some have come across this error before.  Have you looked at any of these solutions?

I assume you know that Excel "throws" this Error under the following conditons:

Excel displays this error when a number is divided either by zero (0) or by a cell that contains no value. Excel displays this error when a value is not available to a function or formula.

Time to look at your WorkSheet, see if you have any formulas, see if you can figure it out.  You failed to attach your code (so we can't point out any errors that might be there) and also failed to attach an example Excel file (so we can't point out any errors that might be there).  At least you seem to have gotten the error number accurately reflected in the title ...
