2009 student example VIs

Are the example VIs from the 2009 Student Edition book available for download anywhere?  I want to follow along with the text book, but my windows 7 machine won't let me install the Labview 2009 SE version, so I've gone to LV 2012.

What's happening when you try to install it? Have you tried reading the various posts about people asking how to install earlier versions of LabVIEW under Windows 7? Usually it requires running the insaller as administrator.

Nothing happens, the disk sits and grinds forever, the install never occurs.  I'm logged in as Administrator, I've disabled my anti-virus software, I'm not running any other programs... I'm doing everything I'm supposed to, it just won't install.  I called NI andthey confirmed that the 2009 SE will only run on Vista/XP, not the Windows 7 that I have.  So I'm just going to use LV 2012, but I'd liketo get the example files from 2009 SE so that I can follow along with the 2009 SE text.

I believe the examples in 2009 are also in the 2012 install.  While every one of them may not be there verbatim or with the exact same name, there should be plenty to help you from a learning perspective. If anything, the help and examples have been improved in 2012. If there is a specific example you come across that you cannot find, post here and I'm sure people will be glad to help.
