2 directional variable

Hi,

Can I define a 2 directional variable (Indicator and control)?

I am trying to insert data into a digital waveform and extarct the data from this wavefrom and transfering

it into Daq assitant(defined for digital output).

Is there another way to achieve this goal?

Yes, you can use Local or Global Variables.

it seems to me that you are searching for programming paradigms as used in most textual languages. This is not suggested.

Please get familiar with the data flow paradigm of LabVIEW as it should answer your question.

can i suggest you have alook at attending labview core 1 and core 2 training courses, they will help with many of your questions, in the mean time alot of the tutorials on the website may help with what norbert has suggested
