10k Thermistor read using Arduino and Linx not

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

Can someone help me to understand why the temperature value from the thermistor is incorrect. When running it is displaying a value of -91 and doesn't change with temperature changes. I have it set up as a voltage divider with a 10K resistor. The thermistor is a 10K NTC and the supply is 5V.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ensure you've connected the thermistor in a voltage divider configuration like the one below and configured the Convert Thermistor Reading with Voltage Ref 5V and R1 to 10k.

Hi thanks for your response, those links have been useful.

I had accidently bypassed the 10k resistor on the breadboard. Now i have it working correctly.

Thanks for your time and help.
