Hi,

To display the cursor, enable the Cursor Legend in Visible Items in the short-cut menu of Graph control. Then, create a singel plot cursor in the Cursor Legend.

In your VI, the x-axis is time data. Therefore, it always display 08:00:00 01/01/1904. When you use XY Graph, the X should display the x-coordinate of the cursor position.

when i use the xy graph, it always display 08:00:00 01/01/1904 even though i move the cursor. could it be because i did not set the parameter correctly?

Yes, the x value of cursor depends on the x-coordinate of the plotted data.

It always displays 08:00:00 01/01/1904 because dt is set to 0.01 second in your code.
