Hello Pate Toni,

guess the result will be 36, right?

After the incrementation and the elementwise squaring one obtains [1 4 9] and the dot product calculates as [1 2 3] * [1 4 9] =36.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

In LabVIEW 8.0, the result will be 36.  This is the dot product of [1 2 3] and [1 4 9].  What is the problem you are having?

In LabVIEW 8.2, however, you will receive an error.  In 8.2, all built-in function names must be lower case.  Changing "Dot" to "dot" will let the script run in 8.2.
