MathScript in Executables?

I have heard we cannot use MathScript in built apps (EXEs).  If this is true, what options do we have when building LabVIEW executables for applications using MathScript?  ...Other than not using it  スマイリー ハッピー

It is true that the LabVIEW 8.0 MathScript node does not support use in standalone applications that you build with the LabVIEW Application Builder. Unfortunately, there isn't a workaround at this time, so, for now, you should not use the MathScript node in LabVIEW applications that you intend to build.

Does release 8.20 of LabVIEW fix the problem of script nodes in a stand-alone application?

Quote from the LabVIEW 8.2 Upgrade notes:

"The LabVIEW Run-Time Engine supports MathScript. You can include MathScript Nodes in stand-alone applications and shared libraries that you build with the Application Builder. The LabVIEW Run-Time Engine currently does not support some MathScript functions. If a script includes these unsupported functions, you might need to modify the script before you build an application or shared library. Refer to the

MathScript Functions Not Supported in the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine topic in the LabVIEW Help for a complete list of unsupported MathScript functions."

Thanks Christian! This is great news for my project; we have several .m scripts that would be easier to import than rewrite in G. I thought that this was the case, but didn't detect any 'fanfare'. Maybe it's "The LabVIEW Run-Time Engine currently does not support some MathScript functions" that has kept this from being trumpeted. I guess it's time to download 8.20スマイリー ハッピー

I was fortunate enough to attend NIWeek 06 and attended your Applied Curve Fitting session. I'm not a mathematician, but did leave feeling more confident that I can use LabVIEW's features to perform the calculations our engineers define. Thanks for "being there" (in the forums and in person!)
