What will I spend my day on at Noriker?

• Work heavily with LabVIEW to design, program, and maintain control projects from end to end

• Maintain existing LabVIEW software projects

• Assist projects across the business with the planning, design, and implementation of control and integration systems

• Get involved from design through to operations of large engineering projects, being part of a team responsible for SCADA architecture, coding and commissioning to deliver projects on time and in budget

• Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure project success

• Promote best practice for LabVIEW software development across the team, and mentor junior members where necessary

What will make me successful in the role?

• A solid engineering background, being degree qualified in a STEM subject

• At least 3 years of experience with advanced LabVIEW programming in a commercial, industrial or research environment, with an emphasis on Control Systems

• Electrical / Power engineering experience would be ideal!

• Good working knowledge of programming languages such as Javascript, Labview, c++ or Python, with TCP/IP networking or front-end web development would be an advantage (but don’t let this stop you applying!)

• You are a self-motivated individual with a sense of responsibility, and happy accepting your part in working towards a larger goal

• Have permanent right to work in the UK

• Training will be provided for specific SCADA development environment
