How to read HMC 5883 Magnetometer

Hello Nathan, 

Am trying to build a code to run on a SbRIO and collect data from a module (GY87) having a MPU6050 + HMC5883L + BMP180  and I need to collect data from them over I2C.

However all the codes I have seen online so far use LIFA and Arduino to pipeline the data over to the pc. 

Can you help me on implementing the same on the RTOS of an SbRIO.?

Any input will be appreciated..

hi mehr im using hmc 5883l i used the library which nathan provided i got error 5003 in i2c read please help me out with this

i too got the same error 5003 in i2c read... did you find out how to get over it ???. did you get the output
