blackfin + hanging

when I load a program from the computer to the blackfin test board, a lot of times the system hangs on

"loading section: sdram0_bank3"

the only thing I can do is restarting labview and restarting the blackfin test board.

but this is not happening always and I can not see a good reason why this is happening.

has anyone experienced this before? is there a solution?

br,

vincent

Hi,

Occasionally you may experience issues where the EZ-Kit USB driver gets hung up and causes LabVIEW to freeze. When this occurs, you can disconnect the USB cable from the EZ-Kit to make LabVIEW close properly. I have rarely seen this behaviour, but when I do, a system reboot has been the easiest way to get the driver into a good state. If this happens repeatedly after power cycling the board and rebooting your PC, please let us know.

this is happening regularly, in fact almost always. sometimes I can load 2 or 3 times a program, must mostly only 1 time.

indeed, I can only resolve this by resetting the hardware and the software and by unplugging the USB and the power.

Hi Vincent,

That sort of behavior has not been seen in our testing. Can you give reliable steps we can use to attempt to reproduce this behavior?

I think the problem is  solved. the test board was connected through a USB hub to the computer. now, I connected it directly to the computer and I can load and reload and reload without any problem.

best regards,
