I have a real-time application developed using cRIO and a PC with real-time OS for vision processing using LabVIEW 2011 and now planning to switch to LabVIEW 2013. It seemed updating the software on cRIO went smootly but for the PC caused problem. It says the VI created by too early version to be run with the updated software which seems unusual. I was told to open the VI in 2013 in the host computer and save it under different name before deploying it to the RT target. But I want to make sure this is a right way to fix the problem. Anybody who has a previous experience? Any help is much appreciated.
