Cannot access memory (ARM debugging)

Hello,

I'm using the Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers and the LM3S8962. Lately I'm getting a Cannot access memory error while debugging the VI.

How do I fix this error?

Detailed Output:

  Cannot access memory

  Detail: [UVSC_DBG_ENUMERATE_BP, MSG: 0x2015, STATUS: 0x22] (34)

Hi michael911,

You said that "lately" you've been getting this error.  What changed?

Did you enable debugging?  Are you running a different example?  Does a former example work fine?  Has it not worked since you boot up your computer this current time? etc...  Any more information you can provide?

Hello Kevin,

now the error is gone, although I changed nothing. But another problem is, and was, that the Keil compiler halts the execution of the program (no breakpoints are set) and I have manually make it run again. As a side effect of this behavior the connection dialog often is not closed. I attached some screenshots to illustrate the problem.

Regards

Michael

It may be the problem of your debugging tools or you need write a *.ini file before debugging. You can try CooCox Colink debug tools. LM3S8962 processor is Cortex-M3 core. CooCox Colink is precisely for Cortex-M3. It's a small ARM Cortex M3 JTAG hardware debug probe.See related information from here CooCox Colink.
