Hi all, we're working with an x410 and have noticed that the serial connection over the JTAG isn't consistently cooperating. We can see the boot sequence unfold, and even the login prompt, but can't send any commands to the x410. It will continue to display system messages as we connect ethernet devices, etc, but is completely unreactive to even a login attempt or simply pressing enter.
At some point later, or in a completely new serial session, it will acknowledge user inputs again. Sometimes this takes 15 seconds, and some times it will hang for hours. We got the device to function over the RJ45/eth, but this can be a major barrier down the line if we have to fix anything on the system (like the static IP) since we may or may not be able to log into the box over the USB.
Has anyone battled this issue before?
