I've used VXI Installation Consultant V 2.34 & 3.1 with win 98. I was got a problem in my command module E1406A. It was install in E 1401 Mainframe. Beside that I have 58542 Peak Power Meter Gigatronics, 1362 DMM wave tek, 2251 Counter timer racal dana, Digitizing Osc hp1426a, Microwave switch HP E1370A, EIP 1231A Microwave Freq Counter and Adapter 2 slot Generic. When I installed all of the component above with VIC, I cannot continued when the VIC verify tha hardware. For communication between pc and instrument I used RS232 cable. What should I have to do to finish the load processing? For load the driver of all components above I just have hp E1370A driver. Are u have advice for this? Regard

Are you trying to you LabVIEW or LabVIEW Windows to control your E1406A?
Can you recognize any of the devices in your chassis, or are you looking for the drivers for your devices?

Thanx for ur respond... I'll describe about the problem : 1. First I've got problem in the 1406/command module. The fail lamp is illuminated. 2. When I check it, the backup battery has been founded leak. 3. So, Is the memory in the NVRAM lost? Should I have to load all device driver from VIC program?

The E1406A is not a National Instrument product, however I did run a search for the failed system light
and found an article here.

The battery leak could be a cause so you might want to contact Agilent for more help.
