Dear sir,
Presently i am using visa functions for serial communication using single com port. Now i want a set up just like some instruments will work on com1 and remaining on com2 simultaneously.
Is it possible? Please suggest me good answer.

Hey Falgandha,

I'm not quite sure about your question, but Serial can only communicate to 1 instrument per com port. If you want to communicate to 2 instruments, you could use 2 com ports. A good starting point would be: Open labVIEW->Help->Find Examples->Search "Serial" and you'll find "Basic Serial Write and Read.vi"

Regards,

Nick D.

They just have to be in parallel. Remember your LabVIEW basics.
