what does this error message mean

 " time out experied before operation completed " and how can we solve this error when it show to you on your VI porgram

Hello

I am using the VISA to connect GPIB card to an HP8569B spectrum analyzer , I doing three GPIB read and write commands at the same time in a serial way , one after the other , I am using flat stacked sequence to implement them from  left to right , ( when I perform each GPIB command indiviaully at at one VI it works ) but when I perform them all together at the same device it doesnt work ,

Hi,

One thing I noticed is that you do not open and close a VISA session with your instrument. LabVIEW will open a session as needed, but it is better to open a session in the beginning and close it a the end of your application. Also, you can wire the VISA resource session all the way through the sequence structure, as you are using the same instrument throughout. I modified your VI to include this. Attached is the modified VI.

If you run this modified VI, do you see the same error? If you run the VI in highlight execution mode, which write fails?
