What is RSE and Differencial?

Hi, I have a question about RSE and Differencial. For example, For USB6008, there are

AI 0/AI 0+   terminal2
AI 4/AI 0-    terminal3
GND
AI 1/AI 1+   terminal5
AI 5/AI 1-   terminal6

Can anyone told me which connection is RSE and which is Differencial?

Another question is about P0.0 P0.1------P0.7  P1.0---P1.3 What I can do with these terminals?

Thanks.

When you choose Referenced Single Ended, the measurement is taken referenced to gnd. So, you have AI0 through AI7 (8 channels). When you choose differential, your measurements are taken between two channels and you have to connect to AI0+ and AI0- for your first channel. That is why you only have half as many channels available in differential mode. Half of the inputs become the - connection for your signal.

The P0 and P1 connections are the digital I/O connections.

Please refer to the user manual that came with the device. It can also be downloaded from http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/CCE0D39B5F105EF8862572200074284E

p.s. You also posted to the instrument control forum (GPIB, serial, etc). You should have posted to the Multifunction DAQ forum.
