Visa Interactive Control

Hello,
I am trying to connect an Almemo 2890-9 with LabVIEW. The device is connected via a ZA1919-DKU, which is an RS232 to USB adapter. I have tried to make the connection using NI MAX through the VISA Interactive Control, but I get an error (see image). I have checked the Baud Rate/Data Bits/Stop Bits/Parity settings (9600/8/1/none) and everything is correct. I have also increased the timeout. Alternatively, I tried using the free Almemo software (Almemo Control v6), and it detected the device perfectly. What could be the problem? Thank you very much.

Is Port Connected is only valid for NI serial boards. I would not worry about that one.

Assuming you have the UART settings correct (Baud Rate, etc.), I would be double checking the query command and the termination character.
