VISA Error:visa32.dll is not found

Hello,

I had installed NI-VISA and it was working properly. In between i installed Agilent VISA and made it the primary VISA.

1)Now i uninstalled agilent VISA. and the VISA error: visa32.dll is not found. is coming.

in C:/Windows/system32/  ,only visa32.dll back up is  present.

I have the labVIEW also installed on my system.

I read through the problems others are facing , and tried uninstalling only NI-VISA through add/remove programs in control panel. I could not uninstall  only NI-VISA.

2)I have the third Quarter 2008 disk1-4 with me. In disk-4 , there are different folders with naming-->aug3-4 etc .

and each one has different NI-VISAs. which one should i use?

3) While trying to install, NIVISAdevsupport.msi , it asked to insert disk-2. We have only 1 drive, what is the other possible solution ?

Please help me solve this problem.

i'm working on both VISAs no the same computer and have no errors

i'll give you a trick and i hope it might work with u

in the MAX , go to the VISA options and check the NiVisa Tulip.dll box , then click on Save

 

the same should be done with the Agilent Visa, Go to Tools>Agilent 488 and enable the "Enable Agilent GPIB cards for 488 programs"

if this didn't work , i'd rather ask you to get the latest VISA for both Agilent and NI ,

there is a difference between installing the VISA and installing the 488 standard
