Controlling Agilent 33250a from Tektronix TDS5000B with RS-232

Hi all,

I am trying to control the input waveform using Agilent 33250a which is controlled by Tektronix TDS5000B with RS-232.

I've downloaded the LabVIEW drivers ag3xxx for the Agilent 33250A. However, if I run "Agilent 33XXX Series Generate Standard Waveform.vi", it gives an error: 1073807346.

Do I need any other driver or software to make this work?

Please give me any advice.

Do you have the instrument configured in MAX and install VISA?

I tried to check with MAX, but it was not configured.

I am sure that VISA is installed because I checked RS-232 through TekVISA program.

Then, what should I do next?

Hi,

Would you please have highlight execution turned on when you run the vi.  I'd like to know at what point you get the error. 

What version of NI-VISA do you have?  Please go to Measurement and Automation (MAX), go to the software tab, and you can see NI-VISA followed by a version number.
