Unknown Device

Hi all,

I am connecting a dc power supply to my pc via a serial to usb converter.

However, i get "Unknown Device" at device manager.

I have downloaded the NI driver for the power supply too. But the result is still the same.

Can anyone please advise?

At NI Max, i can detect the device but what i get is as attached:

Which device is this? And is there no device driver from the manufacturer?Or is it the serial port that is not having a correct device driver. Which USB2Serial device do you have?

Based on the VID, PID information of this unknown device, I guess your device is USB-485.

may try to install NI-Serial driver
