USB/GPIB interface not being recognised

the Agilent 82357B USB/GPIB Interface is not being recognised by Labview 6.1, eventhough windows reports it as 'GPIB0', MAX does not report any interface. will i have to find an older driver?

You might need newer drivers for both the Agilent controller and NI-VISA. With the correct version of both, you should be able to enable the tulip passport in MAX. I don't remember the exact combination of drivers that you need but this is a fairly common question. A search of the forum should turn up an exact answer to your question.
