My
USB-GPIB-HS Will not work if LabView 8.2.1 is installed. I got NI-488,2 version 2.52 bundeled with the adapter.
Here is what I have done:
Install LabView 8.2.1
Install NI-488
=> USB GPIB can not connect to instruments (message: There was an error performing the instrument scan)
Uninstall and install NI-488 => Same result
Uninstall all NI software
then Install NI-488 => I can connect to my instruments (Keithley SMU 236, HP 33210 cand SRS SR850)
Then install LabView => USB don't work ("There was an error performing the instrument scan")
Uninstall LabView
=> USB GPIB works
Then: Install LabView At the end, select Restart later, => USB GPIB works fine.
Then Restart, => Same result again; "There was an error performing the instrument scan"
Any clues?
