Troubling communicating with hp34401A using RS-232

we have a problem when the data is read so u just increase the time ny multiples of 1000 at property node (Timed out) after the VISA open icon in VISA intailize program

[you read or write large amounts of data, as large data sets often take longer than the default timeout period of 2000ms to transfer across the serial port.]

Actually in intialize Program ,the intialization is over at set visa attributes,At Query instrument ID case structure only get the instrument name so no need for query instrument ID Case structure u just cut it. its not essential

Something is not making sense. I downloaded the driver in the image and there is no such thing as an hmp4040 initialize as shown in your image and it is not part of an lvlib. What did you actually download and what did you do after you downloaded it?

No i didnt download that one i have downloaded exactly beloved one in which plug and play is given.

And in that you can find the example for Output voltage.vi and in that you can find Initialize.vi.

Don't call me beloved.

I'm afraid I don't believe you. You may have downloaded that driver but you are certainly not using it. That is an IVI driver and the initialize function, if there even existed a LabVIEW version in the download, would not look at all like the block diagram you posted here. Looking at that block diagram, it would appear it came from the Tools>Instrumentation>Create Instrument Driver Project. I don't know if you are intentionally being obtuse or someone else is actually doing this work. If you want to create your own driver, fine, but don't pretend about where the code came from. Why you would not download the LabVIEW driver and try that is a mystery to me. Until you do, I think I'll leave it to you to fix the problems you created.
