Remote PXI controller instsrument control

Can you suggest the best method for controlling PXI instruments with an external controller?  I have two machines.  One standard desktop system and one PXI chassis with controller and instruments installed.  I can remote desktop to the PXI chassis.  I was hoping for MAX to recognise instruments in the PXI chassis from my desktop machine and use the VISA address as if it was local.  If possible pleas provide examples for a starting point.

It doesn't matter what you want. It matters what NI tells you is available.

You still haven't said which type of controller you have.

Ok. Keysight controller M9037A and a HP Z440.

It looks like you have all Keysight/Agilent equipment so I am not sure why you are here on the NI forums.

That doesn't change anything.

You should stop wasting your time here and actually talk to someone at Keysight.

Oh, and your only options are still the same as the ones outlined in the link I gave you above.

If you fail to understand that link, I suggest you actually talk to someone at Keysight.

The kind support team at Keysight helped me fix this problem.  They pointed me to MAX remote system control and walked me through the setup.  The link they sent me was from the following site NI website.
