Hello everyone, I hope you are doing good.
I am a beginner at collecting electrical pulse measurement. This is my first time using KEITHLEY 2636A source meter for pulse measurement. In the current setup I have KEITHLEY 2636A source meter which is connected to 3 probe station (MS TECH Model: MST_4000A). as shown below.
Is this setup enough for pulse measurement? I mean through this existing setup can I directly measure the pulsed data, or should I modify the setup by installing an additional instrument like PMU (Pulse measure unit) to the SMU (source measure unit)?
If I connect any two-terminal device (one electrode of device is connected to Drain terminal and other electrode is connected to GND (source) terminal of the KEITHLEY via probes) to measure pulse data (ie pulsed IV cure or pulse plot for current vs time (f pulses applied for short time)). Is this setup is capable of giving me pulsed measured data?
Summary:
In conclusion I want to collect pulse data by using the setup as shown in the below schematics, but I am not sure that the existing setup is capable of measuring electrical pulsed data?
I heard for 4200A-SCS, an additional PMU is installed for pulse measurement. Should it also be needed for KEITHLEY 2636A SMU?
