Problems with the communitcation between PC an ag33120 over serial connection

Hello altogether

in the moment I try to estalbish a conncection with the ag33120a with the PC.

I use the VI's from the NI-Site for LabView 7.1. But when I start the ag33xxx - Initialize.vi

I get an write timeout error after the first VISA write.

Find attached the Initial Vi I use.

Have anybody an idea to solve the problem?

Here are some suggestions:

- Verify that you have NI-VISA installed

- Verify that you are using the correct VISA resource name - check in MAX

- Verify that the serial settings on the instrument exactly match the serial settings in the driver

Did you configure your instrument through MAX before running Initialize?

The settings in MAX and the instrument need to be the same.

And be sure to have the correct serial cable
at least two versions exist. straight and crossed !
