PCI-GPIB compatability

I'm trying to install a PCI-GPIB card into a new HP computer (Model DC5700 Microtower).  I've restored the OS (Windows XP Professional) and the OS will see the card, but it will not turn the card on (Cannot start device Error 10).  I've tried 2 different cards, both PCI slots in the computer and 3 different versions of driver software (2.2, 2.3, 2.4). I can, however, get the USB-GPIB adapter to load and work flawlessly.  I've checked all the BIOS settings and can find nothing to cause this.  I have used this card on this OS in other computers with no problems.  Are there special drivers for the HP/ Compaq computers?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi MYogurt,
This was a problem due to an incompatibility between the BIOS on some HP machines and National Instruments drivers.  Luckily, there is an easy fix for this issue.  Please click here for details on how to fix the error.  If you are still having trouble, please let us know.

Have a great day!
