The short answer is, you don't. MAX is a utility written by NI and should not be expected to configure non-NI boards. If there is configuration required, you would use whatever software IOtech provides. To use it in LabVIEW, you would use the functions that they provide instead of DAQmx or traditional DAQ functions. Usually, "compatible with LabVIEW" just means that they provide their own set of LabVIEW drivers.
