Also OS changed from Win95 to Win 98se. The port works well with other applications and devices (well tested). So it seems to be a LV-problem. The signal reaches the used dev., but it seems like after upgrading the dev. it can't understand the sent ASCII-string anymore!!
Have the LV upgrades modified serial comm. in any way?

Hi,

There might have been some changes, but if you are able to run the VI (no compile errors), the serial port should work. The changes should be transparent.

Are you getting any error messages?.
Are you able to run a simple seriel COM vi?. With a loop back for example.

If the VI is simple, can you post it. I could try it out.
