NI USB-232 problem!!!

No, when I right click nothing happens, no option for Open VISA Test Panel. On the window it just says:

Settings

Name

Slot Number      1

Status              Present

This is when you right click on Com4 and not the NI USB-RS232 etc. item? I've only used the NI serial adapter a couple of times and I don't remember having any troubles with it. It looks like a problem with the VISA/NI-Serial installation and not LabVIEW. You've got the latest versions but perhaps an uninstall and a reinstall is worth a try. Other than that, I'm stumped right now.

When I click on either of them there is no option for the test panel. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling VISA and NI-serial. Thanks again for your help, I'll let you know if it works!

Yes it worked!! I reinstalling NI-Serial and VISA and like magic, COM4 appeared at the VISA Resource name! Thanks for your help Dennis.
