NI USB-232- not able detect

Hi,

I am using NI USB-232 (188345C-02) is not able to detect in NI MAX and even in device manager.

Do I need to install any driver to use it?

It generally is not going to detect that interface unless it is connected to an instrument.  The only thing that may be present may be an additional COM port.

Check control panel, serial port configuration, you will know is it communication available.
