NI-Device: questions about some Interface function subset?

Hi,
we are about to release a new system using NI-DEVICE and a PCI-GPIB card of National Instruments. We have some questions about some Interface function subset?

Configuration:
- We use NI-Device version 1.3b4
- The Hardware is a PCI-GPIB National instruments

Talker:
- we don't use de address extension
- Not a talk only device
- The device support the Serial Poll

We don't known it de device is un-address to talk if addressed to listen?

What is the correct subset T2 or T6 ?

Listener:
- we don't use de address extention
- Not a listen only device

We don't known it de device is un-address to listen if addressed to talk?

What is the correct subset L2 or L4?

Electrical
- we use a
PCI-GPIB (National instrument)

The PCI-TNT GPIB card is Open-collector driver or Three-state driver?

What is the correct subset E1 or E2?

Alain,

The TNT4882C ASIC (used in the PCI-GPIB board) will automatically be unaddressed to talk on MLA and unaddressed to listen on MTA. Therefore, you device should be T6 and L4 (assuming you do not suport secondary addresses). The TNT4882C uses tri-state drivers during normal operation, so it is E2.

For any future questions relating to the NI-Device beta, please contact me directly. My email address is below.

Thanks,
