Lost in instrument control

Good day to everyone.

I'm a completely newbie in software development for instrument control. My first challenge is to make a program to control some instuments through a NI GPIB-USB-HS and Visual Basic 2005. I don't know how start my project, what kind of manual or examples I had to try, or if there is differents ways to implement a solution. I'll apreciate any kind of help.

If you install the driver 488.2, you can use the sample programs that install with it.

Oh, thanks for your help! In fact, I installed the drivers some days ago and run the examples. All's fine.
