Hi Bob,
Ok, I am at work again.
I checked the manual. If you want to use most of the features and make programs you will need almost the complete (about 60 of the 100 pages) manual.
Is there something specific that you need to know ?

KC - Well we are getting "Error" messages when turning the machine on and we don't have a clue what it means - the guy that operated the machine left the company a while back. Any clues to that would be good.
Cheers

A error message at teh rs-232 interface or a message on the operating terminal ?
Can you give a example of the error rmessage

KC
When we start up the machine there is "ERROR" flashing on the operating terminal (which connects via RS2320)- We don't get any further than that.

Hi Bob,
There should be a softkey 'Fault menue' available. With this key you can see the error message(s)
Do you see this softkey ?

KC - I can't see a softkey but it doesn't matter which key or combination we use "ERROR" flashes right accross the screen.

According to the manual the terminal should switch from large display to menu if you press any key.
I remember now that we had a problem last year when we ordered a new terminal. I had to replace the battery before we could use it. It was a new terminal from service stock. But it was in stock for many years so the battery was dead.
Maybe you can check this.
I will scan the manual for you. Without the manual it is hard to understand some functions and programming the chamber. But it will take some time.

KC
I took it apart and there was no battery.
That would be much appreciated.

Bob,
Just to be sure before I scan the manual. I scanned the front of the manual. See pdf file.
Is this the same chamber ?
