How to use IVI driver?

1)  I was given an IVI driver for TTi QL355T power supply. 

      I've never used an IVI driver,so, I'm looking for some basic guidance how to use it.

      I did installed the IVI compliance from NI driver disk.

2) Don't know whether it relates to IVI or not...  I tried to use the TQLP_32.dll with both CVI and Labview steps. 

     I can control some functions like set output voltage, but some other functions requires attributes number which I can't fine anywhere.

     Is it possible that an IVI step will have that information?

Hi,

Where did you obtain the driver from?  We do have an IVI driver for similar TTi instruments here, though these drivers are provided third party and the actual download page is at TTi's website.  You may want to contact them about specifics of the driver.  What functions are you talking about that you can't find?  Have you checked with TTi for these functions as well?

The driver I referenced above should install LabVIEW and CVI support.  For example, in LabVIEW you should have a new Instrument Library with various different vis specifically designed with those TTi instruments in mind.  The help files on these vis will contain much more information on how to use them.
