How do i set up the Tektronix tds2024 GPIB so that it is deteted by MAX

I am trying to connect the Tektronix TDS2024 Oscilloscope to be used in LabView. I am using the GPIB port. Do I need to do anything with the TDS2024? Or should it automatically detect it. I have tried 2 different cables and neither are detected by the LabView "Measurement & Automation Explorer" when connected.

Hi,

All you have to do is connect your instrument, Launch MAX if you haven't already done so and scan for instruments.

You should see the instrument listed under the GPIB device.

Thanks, it turns out the back connector board had some broken pins, I swapped the unit with a different one and it works now.
