GPIB-LAN-Adapter (LabView, Linux)

I want to use a GPIB-LAN adapter with LabView. I use LabView with Linux  OS. Is this possible? Which adapter is recommendable? Thanks in advance.

Hi Rolf,

we provide the following product:

http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/12357

It is the NI GPIB-ENET/100 and allows you to connect your computer(s) to a GPIB network through your LAN. The NI-488.2 driver which is needed also exists for Linux and can be ordered seperately.

I hope that this answers your question.

There is no need to order the Linux driver, once you have the hardware you can just download the appropriate version for your distribution. The link below will show what our current distribution support is.
