I'm trying to install the ni-visa package on a PC with Ubuntu 24.04 kernel 6.8.0-35 but it always failed. Attached is a log file of the errors that I found. My objective is to connect a PC to a Power Source instrument via GPIB adapter NI-488.2.
Please, if someone can help me with this issue I'll be very grateful.
Which version of the NI-VISA are you trying to install? All released versions of the NI-VISA are not yet supported on Ubuntu 24.04. (Also, Ubuntu 24.04 requires Noble Numbat packages for the installation)
Hi, thanks for your answer, the things changed a bit since my message, the nilinux2024q2 was released a few days later, and I could install it, and I installed the ni-488.2 driver too, but now it not recognize the USB-GPIB converter.
