Error: Exceeded Table Alias

OS: NT 4.0, service pack 6

Serial Card: Rockport 8 port PCI (Comprol)
Mapping: COM5 through COM12

Application has been built and installed on customer's system. Customer attempts to start program, selecting COM12 as the port. Error reported: Exceeded Table Alias

Error is apparently coming from a call to the "SerialPort Init.vi".

How is this error reported to you?

I assume the "Serial Port Init.vi" you refer to is the one found in the "Serial Compatibility" palette menu. This VI returns an integer error code. What number is reported?

Does the error only happen with COM12?
