Error 6 being generated while using ESP300 controller

You are right in that this could be done with one frame sequence.  Either way would work.

 

I would recommend your method if I looked at it again.  Thanks for clarifying this.

Hi Dave,

 

I don't know if this is related to the "Error 6" problem but it might be related to the beeping error.

I've used the ESP300 before and got a beep that was caused by the acceleration setting being too high.

The motor was at a position where the controller didn't think it was supposed to be.

 

Try slowing down the acceleration/decelereation settings.  It's the values that ared used when the motor starts from a stopped position

 

Look up the "AG" and "AC" commands
